May 24 saw the grand inauguration of Gannan University of Science and Technology. Xu Nanji, the Mayor and Vice Party Secretary of Ganzhou, Cao Banhao, Chief Inspector of Jiangxi Province Education Department, Li Wenxin, Vice Mayor of Ganzhou, and leaders of JiangXi University of Science and Technology attended the inauguration.

        Li Wenxin said, “It is a new milestone in the history of the development of the city's higher education for the transition of College of Applied Science and Technology, JiangXi University of Science and Technology to Gannan University of Science and Technology, which is the new chapter of municipal full-time undergraduate college.”
