In order to promote the construction of Huawei Electronic Information Modern Industrial College and training base jointly built by Ganzhou Municipal People's Government, Huawei Technologies Limited and Gannan University of Science and Technology, Lai Zhengwen, Vice Mayor of the Municipal Government, presided over a meeting to promote the construction of Huawei Electronic Information Modern Industrial College in the morning of 28th September, attended by the Secretary of the Party Committee of the University Qiu Jianjun, the University President Li Guojin, Deputy Party Committee Member and Vice President Zuoqun. The Deputy Secretary General of the Ganzhou Municipal Government Wen Hai, and the main leaders in charge of the relevant units of the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Human Resources and Social Affairs Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, as well as Huawei Technologies Co.

The participants made a site visit to  Huawei Electronic Information Modern Industrial College project construction progress. At the meeting, Gannan University of Science and Technology, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and various municipal units reported on the progress of the construction of Huawei Electronic Information Modern Industrial College and Training Base, and the meeting studied and clarified the source of funds for the construction of the project, the procurement of equipment, and the preparations for the unveiling ceremony and other related matters.

Lai Zhengwen stressed that this government-school-enterprise cooperation is an important practice of actively exploring a new model of Chinese-style modern government-school-enterprise cooperation in talent training, an  important initiative to implement the strategic deployment of   the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, an important embodiment of Huawei's support for the revitalization and development of the old revolutionary areas in Gannan, a major issue in the joint promotion of the development of the digital economy, and a major issue in the joint promotion of the development of the digital economy. We are willing to provide the Ganzhou model and Ganzhou experience for the construction of the Modern Industrial College and public training. Firstly, we should clarify the goal, the big goal is to build Huawei Electronic Information Modern Industrial College into a benchmark of Chinese-style modern government, school and enterprise cooperation, and the near-term goal is to successfully hold the Unveiling ceremony on 25 October.Secondly, We should arrange the construction schedule reasonably, Each relevant department should formulate detailed work plans and schedules, liberate the mind, handle special matters and promote in accordance with the law and regulations.Thirdly, we should clear the responsibility, Gannan University of Science and Technology and Huawei are the main responsibilities, while the Municipal Education Bureau is the leading department. The Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau should integrate the franchise of electronic information enterprises in the city, actively strive for national policies and funds, integrate funds from the Municipal Finance Bureau to guide procurement, and the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau should accelerate the guidance of public training bases. Fourthly, we should focus on the long term aim, to encourage more local or non-local electronic information, digital economy and other enterprises to join us; To establish standards and strive to become national standards; To gather talents; We need to expand the space for education. Fifthly, we should plan more good activities, to organize or establish relevant forums, academic conferences, competitions, carnivals and other activities as much as possible, let more people know and participate, expand influence, and increase the visibility. Sixthly, we should serve the industry well, combined with the "1269 Action Plan" of Jiangxi Province and the "1+5+N" industrial strategy of Ganzhou, to promote the high-quality development of the electronic information and digital economy industries, and help more enterprises transform and upgrade.
