On the afternoon of March 13, a delegation led by M.L. Dr. Sornsiri Voravarn, Dean of the School of Education at Thailand’s Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM), visited our university to explore educational cooperation. Vice President He Jinlong, member of the University Party Committee, along with heads of relevant departments, warmly received the guests and hosted a symposium in the Second Conference Room of Chongshan Building.

At the symposium, Vice President He Jinlong extended a sincere welcome to the delegation and highlighted the development of Ganzhou City, the university’s history, disciplinary strengths, internationalization strategy, and achievements in talent cultivation. He emphasized the long-standing friendship between China and Thailand, noting that educational collaboration serves as a vital bridge for bilateral exchanges. "Our university has always adhered to an open and inclusive philosophy. In recent years, we have actively responded to the Belt and Road Initiative, establishing robust partnerships with multiple Thai universities," he stated. "We look forward to deepening cooperation with PIM to jointly explore innovative educational models under the Belt and Road framework, injecting new momentum into regional talent development and cultural exchanges."
Dr. Sornsiri Voravarn expressed gratitude for the hospitality and praised the university’s accomplishments. He underscored the enduring ties in Sino-Thai educational cooperation, stating, "PIM has always regarded China as a key strategic partner. As a leading applied university in Thailand, we leverage the industrial resources of the Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) to cultivate global talent aligned with the Belt and Road Initiative." He added that the two Universities share common ground in educational philosophies and talent development approaches, expressing hope that the visit would pave the way for collaborative innovation and elevate Sino-Thai educational cooperation.
During discussions, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on potential collaboration areas.
